SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIST

Zoe Clemmons (she/her) is passionate about creating effective communication strategies that contribute to the greater good. Prior to SINA, Zoe worked at the Network for College Success, part of the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work. And in roles at Barefoot Public Relations, she partnered with foundations, nonprofits and government entities to create practical and results-driven communications plans. She also has experience leading communications at organizations focused on environmental conservation. Zoe has a master’s degree in public communication and technology from Colorado State University, where she wrote an award-winning paper about Greta Thunberg’s use of emotional appeals on Instagram. Based in Chicago, you’ll find Zoe exploring the city’s incredible museums, baking in her kitchen or entertaining her cat Sophie.

SENIOR DIRECTOR

Faye Davis brings 15 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing and consulting to her role as senior director. A natural communicator focused on collaboration and strategy, her ability to build trusting relationships is her superpower. Before SINA, Faye led marketing and communications for a large portfolio of projects at Jobs for the Future, a national nonprofit focused on transforming the U.S. education and workforce systems. She has also consulted communities nationwide on their business and talent attraction marketing strategies and facilitated leadership development programming for mid-career leaders. With two energetic young kids, a husband, a French bulldog named Morty, and moonlighting as a yoga teacher, Faye loves an active and spontaneous life focused on savoring good company, food and music.

FOUNDER AND CEO

Kyle Gunnels has more than 15 years of experience in strategic communications spanning K12, higher education, workforce development and philanthropy. As founder and CEO, he leverages his deep cross-industry expertise to advise clients at the intersection of capital and economic opportunity. Before SINA, he led communications at the Cognizant Foundation — the global philanthropy for a Fortune 200 company. Kyle has also held leadership roles at a national education policy and advocacy organization and an ed tech company. And in various roles at TVP Communications and Widmeyer Communications, he counseled leading national funders, companies and organizations. In his spare time, you can likely find Kyle at a local music venue, in an airport lounge or trying to find the best dive bar in a new city.

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Brejamin Perkins is a communicator and storyteller at heart. As a communications specialist, she assists clients with content creation, digital and social media management, event planning, media outreach and more. For more than a decade, Brejamin honed her skills in media and broadcast journalism as a dynamic TV news reporter and host at various local news stations across the United States. Driven by a desire to explore new avenues in communications and public relations, Brejamin is thrilled to now contribute her unique perspective in the social impact, workforce and education space. Brejamin attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. During her free time she enjoys traveling, a good hot yoga session or attending concerts to support her favorite artists.

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Anna Tomka is a communications strategist driven by a passion for social impact and equitable access to education and economic opportunity. Most recently, she led communications for Forage, an ed-tech company transforming education and the hiring process. Before that, Anna worked with nonprofits and startups dedicated to social progress, where she helped uncover, craft and amplify their brand stories. With expertise in social media marketing, content creation and media strategy, Anna thrives at leveraging storytelling to drive meaningful change. She attended Colorado State University and, in her free time, enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling and immersing herself in new cultures and experiences.
